Royal Academy Summer Exhibtion

I recently went to the Summer Exhibition at the  Royal Academy of the Arts. The exhibition was inspiring because there was such an interesting variety of artists. It made me think about interesting collaborations in art and how collaborations could occur more between the disciplines within Art and Fashion.

I was particularly interested in several works and artists I saw.
Oliver Clegg's work 'R for Rented' was a teddy bear painted on a beer crate. I found his use of unusual materials unique and his painting had an interesting message and depth, which made me stop to try to understand what he was expressing.
Here is some of his other work:

This oil painting; 'Portrait of Sir Terry Frost' is by Neil Shawcross. I absolutely love this painting because it's calm. It has a wise grandfather figure and reminding to have the important values at heart in life.
